I have a 1978 Glastron 140hp Mercruiser. I have this switch I would like to install. This switch is rated for 100 amps continuously at 12 volts and 500 amps at 12 volts for 10 seconds. Can this be wired between the positive post on the battery and the starter.

bipp thanks

my epitaph will be. Can't fix this

Re: Battery on/off switch

If its marine rated. A standard battery switch is better, allows multiple batteries.
