I have a hummingbird helix5 and I have to set it to 9.5 volts to keep it from constantly beeping after a few hours on the water fishing. I once turned it down to 9 volts, big mistake. Would not start but we was on water 7 plus hours. To answer your question or help I have a brand new battery and it still alarms if set to 10 volts when I crank the motor, so it could be a hummingbird issue. My Hummingbird fish finder is set to low alarm 10v and keeps going off when I start boat or run live well. Is my battery bad?
A fully charged 12 volt battery is 12.7 volts. A starting battery is technically dead at 12.0 volts.I have a hummingbird helix5 and I have to set it to 9.5 volts to keep it from constantly beeping after a few hours on the water fishing.
