When I am charging my battery in my boat should i remove the covers from the batt and disconnect the terminals? I have been told different things in the past. I just want to get expert advice.

Re: Battery Charging

You can safely leave the battery terminals connected as long as you DO NOT hook up the battery charger backwards (reverse polarity).
