My 3 month old lead acid deep cycle/starter battery has only been used to start my 115 Hp o/b 5 or 6 times. the engine's alternator is working and the battery has a full water level. I have no large electrical loads like troll motor, bait well pump, electrons. The battery leads are removed after each outing. The battery cranks the engine with no problem.
About a month ago I used a standard charger and it 6 hours and did not go below 4 amps.
I bought a new charger with a float capability and for 2 days has not got off of the "charge" cycle.
Do you think the battery is OK and I just haven't charged long enough?
