Hey guys, I am installing a 90hp 2005 yamaha on my boat and am confused about the diagram in the service manual as to where to hook the battery cables to the motor. Do I hook the posative lead to the starter relay and the negative cable to the starter housing? To put it plainly Where do I hook the battery cables to? And where do I hook the 12 gauge red wire with the fuse holder on it, coming off of the 10 pin harness on the engine side? I believe this goes to the "hot" side of the battery as well, but I want to make sure!!!. Does anyone have a rigging guide? I have the service manual and the online parts manual, but can't find the proper info. PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!! :) :0 Thanks, Ray :D

yes<br /> the positive cable attaches to the post on the starter solinoid opposite the post with the starter cable. the red wire with the fuse goes to the same post as the batt cable on the starter solinoid. the ground batt cable goes to the starter bracket at the top of the starter. you will see a small boss with an 8mm threaded hole. the fasteners should have come with the engine.
