Battery back-up?

Has any body used a "jump-start" or "Jump-it" as a back-up for a trolling motor battery. How long will it last with a 40# motor?<br /><br />Bill

i'm sure it won't be very effective.. it's small for one thing.. an it's not a deep cycle... but i'm sure it'll get you back home...

Just make your own generator! all you need is an old motor, the alternator andcase you can mak your self, the ehust sytom will just be another 100 and it never fails!!!! (p.S exhust systom is optional...
