I have two batteries on my Cruiser. Battery number 1, handles the starting, and battery number 2, handles the accessories. I got stuck a few months ago with a dead (number 1)
battery and the boat wouldn't start. Is there anything on the market that would have prevented this from happening? I don't have a battery switch, so I had to jump battery 1 from battery 2.

I also wanted to say THANKS for an excellent bunch of guys and gals on this forum. I have learned alot.

Larry

Get a battery switch start and run on both, isolate your work battery while not running.
always buy good HD battery

what kind of charging system? What's the output? If you have an adequate charging system, you can install an isolator. If you have an O/B with a small charging system, manual switching would be more suitable. Let us know what you got...
