Hey,<br /> my bass boats transom is 15" it is a set out area. the motor is a short shaft and the prop is only 3/4 of the way below the bottom of the boat. will this cause anything?
Actually, the engine can probably go up higher. A good starting point is the centerline of the prop shaft even with the bottom of the boat. With setback, the engine can usually go up higher.<br /><br />c/6<br />Hooty
