base timing for 140 horse

Can any of you good people please tell what the base timing for a 1986 140 horse is?
The points have been removed to make place for an Ac Delco electronic ignition system with distributor. I just need to set the base timing to begin the timing procedure and I do not know what it is.

There is no 'base timing', just set the timing at 6? BTDC at idle and you're done...
