Bar crossing in Washington st.

It's my first year out and was wanting info on crossing the baar in Wash. whats the safest and easest to cross my boat is 19' deep V Glasply. If anyone is interested in going Lingcod fishing next month hit me up

If you're talking about the Columbia River bar, I've heard it's a very nasty piece of water, even for larger fishing and coast guard boats...maybe not for 19' boat?...better check it out!

The only way I'd cross the Columbia River Bar in a 19 foot boat is sitting in it while it was strapped down as deck cargo on a 500 foot plus container ship headed to Yokohama!
