I decided to go for a spin on Keuka lake today to see the changing colors on the Bluff while coaxing some pike to my lures.(All I caught was some very large perch).
After launching the boat and parking the car I tried to pump some fuel to the engine in order to start her up,but the ball was hard as a rock and really stiff because of the cold (33 Fahrenheit).
My question is: Is there a ball in the market that stays pliable in cold weather, and if not, what alternatives are used?
As always, thank you for your advice and opinions.

Yes, most OEM bulbs will stay pliable, the after market ones tend be stiff even in warm weather.

The OEM OMC bulbs that I have had stayed pliable in cold weather when they are new. A year or two old and they start to get cranky. I've actually had very good luck with Attwood/Seasense primer bulbs in cold weather.
