Does anyone know if using a bolder pump type hose is ok to use for my transom mounted bait tank pump? It’s a 500 I checked and it fills my kodiak 14gal tank within a 5min which is to the manufactures setting, however the flow doesn’t seem to be that fast more like a very slow swirl. Never had a real bait tank so not sure if that is standard. Thank you!

Ideal flow is determined by the water temp, number, size and type of bait your maintaining. Some fish tolerate captivity very well, others do not.

Generally speaking, low flow is better than too much. To much flow and you literally can drown them.
