Anyone have any luck with a particular battery powered aerator for their bait buckets? I've bought 3 already this year and they work for a few days then stop blowing bubble. Tired of throwing money away. :(

I have a Frabill 1424. It is very quiet compared to the walmart ones and is going on at least two years for me. The 1423 looks the same. The 1424 just has a stupid tiny light that is worthless. I will buy another when this one quits. I don't fish every day but it runs for a lot of hours when I go.

the walmart ones are junk? I was looking at buying one. I have the bait wells in my boat, but no aerators.

we have the frabil bait bucket setup. It runs on two D's - and also can run off an battery of you plug it into the cigarette lighter. It runs forever on the batteries.

We have preserved bait for days and have been super happy with it. It is a $80 bait bucket, but I'd spend it again if I had to.

You wont get any better than this, works great, I put min through the lid of a 48 qt ice chest and run it on a 12v deer feeder battry, it will run for two days on it. The ice chest keeps the water cool and the motor not in the water causes no heat. I can keep a dozen 2 to 3# catfish alive in the same Ice chest for several hrs.
