My dealer says that the rams are only available as replacemants - no rebuild parts available to repair leaky cylinders.

Any help out there?

How could Volvo do that, what is bad is that there are 2 on every boat.

Thanx

I guess the URL is too long for the system to accept.

Haven't quite figured out this new system yet.

Thanks kcole I found the diagram - took a little time but was worth it. I don't have a manual and that will sure help.

I called Volvo Cust service and did some real complaining. They said don't they don't sell rebuild parts for the cylinders. I said I could rebuild any hydraulic cylinder on my old Farmall tractor, and I couldn't imagine putting a new $375 cylinder on a newer boat that can't be rebuilt. And then to worsen the situation putting two of them on the boat, I told them it sure soured me as a Volvo consumer - to the point where I question their judgement, and might look elsewhere when looking for my next boat.

Didn't seem to phase them much.

Thanks again
