I have a1988 Force 125 that recently started the problem stated....it raises by itself when both fishing and running.....I hit the switch and it stops, but I have to disconnect the battery terminal when parked as it starts raising anytime it wants.

sounds more like a switch. but relays are only $2-$3 each off ebay-amazon-google. If you think its a relay then put new ones in. sounds like a short near switch though.

thanks for the reply LT......you might be correct as we had a very wet weekend here in the Ohio valley.....can I buy a double throw / center off switch at the harware store?
