bad amplifier?

My problem is at an idle the engine misses like I am turniing the ign. switch on and off. Any other ideas I may try? The switch is working. The engine runs great until it warms up then it misses. at full throttle it runs great, no miss. But after warming it misses at an idle and the ign. switch will not turn it off!

Hitnrun, on the amplifier issue, I put an automotive coil in mine this spring and it works great. I have the same make, year & model. You need to have a condensor but you don't need a resistor so long as you don't leave the ignition on when it's not running. I don't know that this will resolve what the miss problem is though.
