Can anything be done by the powers that be to make the back to the top button in the lower right hand portion of the page be made visible. It is covered by the Shop Honda ad on the right side of the page. You cannot access the button to return to the top of the page.

Thanks in advance.

What device are you using?

One thing to try is changing the screen zoom level slightly. That has caused a few issues.

Kind of a hijack here, but for me, the Back to Top button doesn't work. I have not been able to discern a pattern, though except it generally doesn't work right after I post. Sometimes it will work if I refresh, but not always.

If it is not working it has to do with how you have your java script set up to execute in your browser, I have noticed several times when things are loading slower that it does not always complete loading and running the scripts correctly.

I am using a Dell XPS desktop computer and a Dell Inspiron laptop computer. In both instances there is a Shop Honda ad on both the right margin where they always are and the left margin which is a recent addition. The Shop Honda ad in the left margin covers all but a very small part of the blue back to the top button. There is not enough of the button to click on to get back to the top of the page. That's how it is on both my computers.

I thought it would be easier if you could see my screen. Here is a screenshot with the button covered by the ad.

Try zooming out once or twice

Hit control and the minus sign for zoom out. I'd bet once would be enough

Control and the plus sign to zoom in

Also if you scroll down just a wee bit, the Back to Top button will stay in place as the side ad moves up out of the way. Full screen on the display window may also do it.

Admin has been given a jingle after seeing your screen.

The ads displayed on the side are not a permanent thing and it's not worth the time to fix it. If you continue scrolling down, just above the iboats footer you will see a "Go To Top" button, this does the same thing.

Thanks for fixing this. I just checked in for the first time today and the button is visible and the ads are not on both sided of the page but at the top of each page.

Maybe install ADP. I don't get ads. Zooming in to 125% will eliminate side ads... In the future, if there is problems with the BTTT button, just hit Home on your keyboard......

If you're using Firefox, "Back to the top" should only require a press of the "home" key on your keyboard.

(Just like "pg up", "pg dn", for 1 page scrolling and "end" takes you to the bottom)

I also have the "Back to Top button" at the lower left but I never use it because "home" is easier......

Understand, that if you're typing in a reply window (like here & now), home, end, pg up, pg dn always takes you to the top, bottom, etc in the window you're actually typing in. So for it to work then, you must click anyplace outside that dialog window.

Although I am using Firefox on OpenSuSE x64 Linux, I just tried it on Win7 with Firefox And IE. Works the same.

Cheers,

Rick
