Tony, if you are around;

An old problem has come back. Back button takes at least three clicks and when I press the recent pages button to see what is loaded, the facebook entries are in there again as follows:

static.ak.facebook.com/connect/x

static.ak.facebook.com/connec

Facebook Cross-Domain Messaging Helper

As well, I an still having the problem where I boats will not refresh. If I make a post in a thread and go back to iboats Boating Forums, my post does not show up until I refresh the page. If I remain on the site for a period of time and there were five new posts to the thread I am reviewing, I will not see them listed until I refresh the thread page. When I go back to the Boating Forums page, I must refresh that as well to see the five new threads or any new posts to the complete Forums page.

IE 9.0.8112,16421 Update version 9.0.12

Same here!!!!! What he said /\

I've been refreshing my memory on the facebook issue this morning, and again looking for solutions. Right now the only thing I can seem to find is adding facebook to your list of blocked sites, or at least adding the ones above to the block list.

If you post a new thread, and then press the back button, it will not show your new thread. Technically the post does not exist yet, because you went back to the page you were on before you made the post. That is why you would have to refresh. I'm posting this in IE now to try this new technique to get around that issue.

So I just posted, then scrolled up to the top and selected the iboats "Forum and Website Issues", from the breadcrumb navigation. It said the last post was by me @ 8:15 AM. Let me know if this works for you.

Re: Back Button

Adding sites to blocklist.

  1. Open Internet Explorer. Find the "Tools" tab in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Select "Internet Options" from the bottom of the "Tools" dropdown menu.
  2. A new screen will open. Choose the second tab from the left, "Security." In the "Security" tab, click on the icon for restricted sites. It will be represented by a red circle with a bar through it.
  3. On the restricted sites screen, click on the "Sites" button. Manually enter the site URL's and click "Add." Closing the screen will save the new setting.
