Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum but not to boating. My last boat was a Wellcraft 192 American cuddy cabin. I have not had a boat in about 10 years now and am looking to get back into it. My ideal boat is a 22' - 24' deck boat ( like a bow rider but wider at the bow ). I've looked at Sea Ray and Chaparral and Crownline but at a local marina they had a leftover Azure 240. I really like the boat and it seems good but I have no idea of the quality of the boat. Does any one have any knowledge or experience with these boats. I know the company Azure is a sub-division of Bennington which makes a quality pontoon boat. We are using the boat in fresh water lakes only for water skiing, wake boarding, relaxing, etc. The engine is a 5.7L Volvo/Penta I/O

Thanks
Thept

Re: Azure boats

I have posted a similar question about Azure boats several weeks ago without much success. A was looking for a 18-20 feet boat at two local boat shows. My choices were Stingary,Tahoe,Glastron,Azure. Later i decided to buy the Azure 188 (bowrider) because it looked and felt more upscale when compared with the other three. Unfortunate i can't tell you much about the Azure brand.I think i know about them just as much as you do. The engine it is a Volvo so you shouldn't have problem with that. The boat itself looks robust and very well made .I have looked everywhere for a review on Azure boat and found none. I can only hope there are good because as of last week I own one. :)
Just out of curiosity how much do they want on it?
