Remebered today that a couple weeks ago I had seen a notice for bid and removal of a Central heat/ac unit out of a construction trailer. I do not have centeral air at the house and have wanted a Heating unit to suplement the wood stove in the garage so I stopped by the jobsite to have a looksee. The unit is a yearand a half old but looks brand new so I called school district to see when the bid opening was. They told me at 2pm...this was at 1 pm so I did a quick internet search to establish value and i was off. An hour later I was the proud new owner of the unit. I will soon have a forced air furnace in the garage and 1 and1/2 ton centeral air in the house for $251 + a freon charge. I am gonna be one cool cat this summer with a warm workshop this winter. Just wanted to share as usually everyone gets in my pocket but today I came out Good.
