Avon model year?

I have an Avon model AD-11. Serial no. is 1496700. Can anyone tell me the year of manufacture?

I believe Avon's practice is to use the year as the last two numbers in the SN. If that's correct, your boat would be a 2000 model.

The serial number is 12 digits long...
