Anyone else watch this show on the History Channel? Just saw the one that ended with Burt Reynolds showing off "Bandit" for Smokey and the Bandit, his 1977 6.6l Firebird from the movie. Man it's sad taht emissions had those engines so restrained. It only had 200hp....

I catch it every now and then... <br /><br /> I liked the episode where they did a drag race between an old 16 cylinder cadillac (al capone model) and a typical police car of the same vintage...

I actually had a Trans AM and I was pretty proud when the movie came out. People swarmed near the car when I parked in the movie parking lot after the show. It was pretty good on the highway but not geared for the side streets.<br /><br />Bob
