I will be getting a 1984 Delta 88 and was wondering if they have a plug a wire harness can be hooked up to, or if wires have to be individually spliced.<br />Thanks

Re: auto wiring

that old you will probably have to splice. get the little blue connectors, that slip over the wires on the car, and you slip the trailer pig tail wire into an squeese with pliers. make the job really easy. remember most trailer light problems ar caused by a bad ground. don't depend on the hitch and ball to do the grounding. the white wire is for grounding. walmart sell the kits, including the connectors.

Re: auto wiring

The wires are readily accessable in the trunk. Splice a harness there and leave in the trunk for protection when not in use. There is enough give in the truck weatherstrip to allow the trunk to close without cutting the wires. Brown is tail/running lights. The turn/stop wires are light green and dark green if my memory serves me correctly.
