Auto question for my Aussie cousins.

In recent years have any Australian cars used hard plastic steering wheels or have the long gone to padded wheels like in the US?

I am hoping to find a three spoke plastic rimmed wheel that is about 14 3/4" in diameter.

One quick trip through a local salvage yard turned up no plastic wheels except for a few old cracked antiques (all too large, anyway)

Hi Boom, every steering wheel now (in aus) has a padding. the only ones that do not are aftermarket. I cannot think of a plastic wheel of that size but I'll do a bit of homework and get back to you.
