Auto oil Problems

I have a 1988 130H.P. Yamaha. Auto Oil is not moving oil from remote tank to main tank. Can this system be removed from motor without harm to engine so I can go to mixing gas and oil. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Howdy, Redfin.<br /><br />Yes. You can remove/disable the oiling system and use premix.<br /><br />Good luck.

You may have an electrical or a pump problem, but check the oil filter under the remote tank in the boat first. When it plugs up, no oil gets delivered. While the tank is removed, use jumper wires on the oil pump to see if it is working OK.
