Auto Blend on this motor. I am not sure how it worked, nor do I need to know. Recently acquired this engine. From the intake manifold are small hoses which go nowhere. They are attached to small nipples on the manifold. On the cowl support bracket there is a small nipple near the fuel line connector . Should I just plug the nipples on the manifold or should the hoses be routed in a certain manner?

After getting a better look at the hoses and nipples I have to guess that they have nor had anything to do with the Auto Blend system. The nipple in the front by the fuel intake has a screen on the forward sidde. Goes to the airbox / attenuator correct?

you are correct. the autoblend worked completely inside the fuel tank. most have been retired by now, and we just blend 50:1 in the tank.

goldstem------Are you sure that the " autoblend " worked completely inside the fuel tank.?-----Or was it a separate oil tank that had fuel going through a mixing unit on that oil tank.-----At any rate the AUTOBLEND unit should be heaved over the fence at the local land fill site.

Agree about studying the Trajectory Characteristics of an Autoblend unit.

Previous owner apparently either heaved it or whatever. I have been using premix.
