Audio warning system Problems?

I have a 2006 tahoe with a 4.3Litter Mercruiser in it. The audio warning system is going off . It says it will go off if the oil pressure is low, Low gear lube or over heating engine but none of these is the case does anyone know anything about this audio system if so reply.

it goes off when the boat is in gear but it will beep once or twice then smoetimes it will stay on.

it almost seems like there is a short in it because it want do it all the time it will go 20 mins sometimes before it goes off
