Re: attractants

I started using the Kick'n Bass crawfish flavor this spring. The jury's still out on it, but I can tell you it stinks enough to gag you! It was highly recommended on my local fishing forum. I squeeze a little out into a zip-lock bag & dip lures in there. Haven't had a spill yet; you don't want to get this stuff on your carpet!

I'm also using a garlic-flavored yellow dye to color the tails of flukes & other soft plastics. You dip 'em in and it dries in a few seconds. Actually penetrates and changes the color all the way thru. Preliminary results make me think it's worth it; I'll keep using it. This stuff stinks, too, and it will stain your carpet, your hands, clothes. Spilled some on my watchband, and two weeks later after multiple attempts to clean it, I just had to throw it away!

I forget the brand, but you can't miss it at BPS or walmarts.

Have been using Berkley trout attractant for about 5 years now, have had great luck. Have increased take by at least 20%. My 2 fishing pals started using the stuff the 2nd year
