Attention All, Help with posting

When posting a reply, and I hit "Post", it seems as soon as the "waiting" window drops down, I hafta wait forever for the error message to appear, then close it, and hit refresh, then wait forever again for it to post

I have found, if I hit "Preview" instead, and the preview comes right up, then I just hit "Post", and things move a lot faster!

I know this works for me, maybe it will work for you as well.

Damn! Just noticed my post count is still not right! Apparently it doesn't add up All of the posts!

The post count only updates if you are lucky enough to have a clean, error free post. It seems to be about 1 out of 10 times for a clean post. I've noticed the preview works error free about 2 out of ten times, so a slight improvement.

That doesnt work for me at all....... the only thing I can do is when I click post and it goes to the forever "working" I just page back then go back to thread and it's posted.......

Still think it's just about the worst version of vbulletin I have ever seen.......I come check in every day atleast once or twice hoping something has changed......but NOPE......... even when I manage to get a reply posted the thread seems to dissapear never to show up in new topics again............

I guarantee the other two big marine forum admins are loving this absolute cluster #&@% going on here............such a shame

They're probably looking at this and thinking they're not going to get the latest upgrade, which I believe is 5.1, until all the bugs are worked out. So, they're probably thanking us.....
