I'm looking for ideas to attach a pwc floating dock to my current permanant dock without the risk of permanant damage to the dock if the pwc would hit the permanant dock too hard (i've heard stories of docks getting wrecked and pipes bent).

Right now I have a 2" x 10" bolted to the posts and just tied up the pwc float, which worked, but again the right of a pwc hitting it too hard is there.

You already have the holes in the floating dock why don't you just drive some poles through the right next to the dock. They also make theses thing that are kind of a squire U shape that bolt onto floating docks and go down through the holes in your float, my across the canal neighbor attached his jet ski dock that way but I don't know who makes them

I have EZports which are also drive on. I go a piece of heavy foam and wrapped with carpet. Makes a bumper if we come up to fast

Can also make or buy an extension pieces (EZport sells extensions which are also dock boxes)
