Attach spark plug cap to ignition wire

I just recieved my order of Suzuki parts to replace the ignition wires. But how the heck do you attach the ignition wire to the spark plug cap. They give you a spring that looks like it stabs into the wireand the spark plug would fit into it. Has anybody had to deal with this? thanx Paul F.
