History Lesson: A long time ago, within the family we started doing what we named the "color cruise" all the family members with nineteens of all different colors would get together and take a trip somewhere.

This year we are talking about doing it a little bit different. Instead of a trip somewhere we are going to just make a day cruise out of it on Lake Lanier. Our date book will be Late october, when the leaves are starting to change color, so we will have a pretty ride. Our plan is to meet at Mary Alice Park on the south side of the Lake in the morning, and cruise to the south, then east of lanier islands, under the bridge, north all the way to gainesville marina where we will have lunch, then make the return trip back down the west side of the lake. Should take about 1.5 hours each way of riding, then lunch. so not too long of a day, and everyone can explore the lake afterwards. Should be a nice liesurly cruise, and smooth that time of year. When we nail down the final date I will post it ASAP so anyone intersted can plan. There should be 3 boats or so from the family, then a few more local nineteens that i can immediately think of. Just wanted to throw this out there so you all can be thinking about it.
Take care.

I would love to do it. We will have to see how things go and if I can get my carb to quit acting up. I bet I'd have the only Hershey brown hull around.

At least you wouldn't need to haul your boat. You could just bring your carb and then use my boat. It looks like my calendar is closing up real fast.

We are expecting some relly hot temps next week here.

When you figure what shows your doing let the local owners know and they could bring their boats to show off too. I'd love to bring mine to anything near Memphis etc.

Oh Man! Ours is completely torn apart and I don't think there is any way we can get it back together in time! Can we bring our Sea Skiff and tag along?

Hey guys and gals, We are still aiming for the oct/nov. time, whenever we can get some good leaves changing colors. There will be plenty of pics posted afterwards dont worry. You can tag along, but you have to fly an aristocraft pennant :)

Re: AristoCraft Color Cruise

still waiting for a date. We had spectacular sunset at the lake last night. I have never seen the likes of it in my life. The mackeral skies made it seem if the entire sky and water was on fire.

Anyway, I hope you guys get a similar one for the cruise. It appears that either everyone got busy on the 21st or the new sticky ran everybody off.

We will be getting pre-opped soon and the actual date is going to be on the 11th. For those of you that know, keep us in your prayers and hopefully all will be right again about three weeks after.

Re: AristoCraft Color Cruise

Hey guys/gals, looks like a tentative date is the 30th of october. it is starting to cool, and we have been waiting for that so that the leaves would start to change colors, making for a scenic ride. I have not forgotten, and we should know by the end of this week. Stay tuned!
