Are VP Flush Muffs the Same as Merc?

My new VP SX drive boat is getting closer.
It will be late Summer, so I want everything ready.
Will my Alpha II muffs work?

All of the merc outdrives i have seen are narrower than the VP SX by a decent amount

As long as they aren't the merc ones that have a rod that go through the water intake. They may or may not work. I used the same muffs on my Volvo as my Bravo 3.

I use these. Puts water on both sides and has metal pipes instead of plastic.
