Are the Johnson and Evinrudes going down in value!

I am thinking this might be a good time to purchase a new 99 off model year? Which engine should I get I belive my dealer carries johnson 115hps. What should I spend to have them rig my boat.

Ahoy, Fishmaster. This is really hard for a lifelong OMC user to admit, but their quality control went to hell for about 6 months before the shut down. You would get a better engine if you looked for an earlier model, as long as it is a 60 degree looper.<br /><br />Red sky at night. . .<br />JB
