Are mounting holes the same for 1986 75 Mariner and 1991 75 Mercury?

I'm removing my 1986 4 cyl. 75HP Mariner from my boat. I have to take my boat to where the 1991 3 cyl. 75HP Mercury is hanging. I would like to know if MERCURY uses the same mounting hole patterns for these 2 motors. I have a lot to do and little time to do it, it will save me some time if they do.
Also, just curious, it feels like the later 3 cyl. 75 HP weighs more that the 4 cyl. What are the weights?

If I had the motor here, I could simply compare but it is several hours away hanging from a beam in a garage wating to be installed.
Another question, the large pivot tube with the steering cable running through, would they be the same, so all I would need to do is remove that tube, leave the 1986 75 Mariner mounting on the boat and put the 1991 75 Mercury on that pivot? Might not match colors but might be easier? I'm just hoping I can switch it as quicly and easiloy as possible.
