Are 1987 30HP and 9.9HP Tillers interchangable?

Hello,

I'm looking for a tiller for my 1987 9.9 J10SELCUE outboard and am wondering if I can expand my search to the 20, 25 and 30 HP models? They appear to be the same throttle cable type but I'm looking for any "got-chas" anyone would care to share.

Thanks for the link... just in case anyone else searches the thread, the two tillers share most of the same part numbers but have different throttle cables.
