Aq131a-Volvo Chasing Problems?????

Well here I am again, (volvo aq131a) still trying to figure this thing out?..
was running fine then engine shut down started back up ran for a couple seconds and died after several atemps with no success I gave up, then I noticed the trim/tilt quit working hmmm jinxed!!!. since then it has gone downhill.
I have done the following not to mention now the engine won't turn over now! like it did? : it's getitng plenty of fuel, checked for spark coil was putting out spark and then wasn't checked coil and was leaking oil(replaced) still nothing,
cleaned and reset points, nothing, checked under dash found 2 blown fuses(replaced) still nothing, (replaced) ignition switch which decided to go out on me! still no juice! like I don't even have a battery in it now, at this point I had to quit do to rain!!!, I have another relay I was going to try but haven't yet, not sure at this point what else to do besides cutting the ropes and let it go over the falls, seems like I'm chasing my tail, typical boat one thing goes wrong and then it's a dominoe effect what a pain........
If anyone could help or suggest anything it would be greatly apprecieated!

Start with a known good charged battery, and clean every electrical connection to the engine, solenoids, etc; including grounds.
Blown fuses seems like a short. Or mis-wiring.

does anyone know the proper points Gap on the volvo aq131a???.
I hear .016, .017, .018????? hmmm. I know, I know get a manual!!!. most that I've seen are pretty useless and show the basics and really don't pinpoint anything but your wallet. but i'm loking for one.
