Hello all,
I have a 1986 bayliner CApril with a volvo penta aq131a and aquamarine 275 sterndrive. I was out last year and blew a gimbal bearing on the water. I'm told by the marina that I'll need a new bell housing, u joints, bellows, etc. However, I noticed there are no motor mounts on this engine. So my questions are as follows:
1. Can the bell housing be pulled without pulling the engine from the boat?
2. What can I expect to pay to have this done?
3. Should I install motor mounts when I fix the rest?
Any other advice?
Thanks
