I saw on one forum or another that the 170 had 6 drain cocks. I found 5 but not one for the block. Anyone know where the sixth one is? Thanks Mike

Re: AQ 170 Drains

I looked and there is no pet **** for the block, just a plug with a square hole. Of course it must be metric, larger than 1/4" smaller than 3/8". For tonight I put a heat lamp on it. If I cant find some square stock that fits and get the plug out tomorrow I'll drill a hole in a soft plug and deal with that later.

Not sure what your saying. The plug has a square hole??? Is it hex or an Allen wrench needed perhaps, or is the head of the plug square? If so, try some 12 point sockets.

Good Luck.

The plug has a square HOLE. A 1/4" ratchet spins in it and I couldn't drive a old 3/8" extension in to it. If I can't find 5/16 square stock I'll do some grinding on the old extensionto make it fit.
