Apollo XHS, any good?

I have a 21" Michigan Wheel Apollo XHS that's pristine. I've only had an afternoon running with my big engine and the 21" feels right. I just have not had the opportunity to run to full throttle. The Apollo seems good. Have any of you had problems with them? Is it OK for my heavy v hull runabout?
I plan to check rpm @ wide open next time out.
I have found a Ballistic Plus that I can buy for short money too. Any reason I should?
I'm thinking I will wait for the test run, but thought I'd ask how the Apollos behave in my sort of use.

Also, I was remembering the wrong name. It's the Mirage Plus I was considering. But sure I will report back on how it acts. I lift off kind of gently so there won't be any cavitation or blowout to report.
