hi. I have a pull start 25hp evinrude and I was woundering if there is any way to hook some kind of eletric device to charge a batt. so I can run ligths yhanks Don

You don't need an alternator to run lights. Install a battery, connect lights and other accessories and simply charge the battery as needed. Lights, locators, etc., don't draw much power and will operate a long time before charging is necessary. Use a deep cycle battery.
