That'll buff right out... a couple of straws for the fuel rails and it'll be good as new

"Sold as long block only with NO accessories included (ie: intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, or belt drive accessories. No transom or gimbal or drive included."

Burned, stripped,,, and still $4k :faint2:

For another $500 you can get one that's unburned,,, and rebuilt...

Good point, probably not...

I could slop some poly-resin and fiberglass on a piece of plywood, then chuck it on the grille to even it out though...

This is one of those ebay ads where the seller should have not smoked crack before posting the ad.

I hope he/she has a good time selling it, further I hope he/she does not find anyone stupid enough to pay that price for that motor, if they do I hope I get to see them in my day job, in the jail.

Now you're looking for a new engine!!??

Surprise surprise they don't accept paypal. Ask the seller if they offer installation, my guess is they wouldn't touch that thing with a 10' pole.

I have a 6.2, and I wouldn't touch that thing. It's worth $1500, maybe. What a joke!

FWIW, as we don't close threads much anymore, we edit and do other things to keep things in check. This thread, while not intentional, is actually against the rules. Anyone know why?

On a positive note, looks like the transom was still in good shape!

Yes, and especially as a 1st post. The idea with that rule is to eliminate the one and done drive by's. Often we'll get a, "What do you think of this boat?" post with a link from a new member. Then you never see them again. The 1st post rule eliminates that. I know that was not agalant80's intent. Just pointing it out.

Funny how the "new member" is often from the same exact city as the ad...
