Who's job is it to let the thing out of that cage, that's the big question?

ON a side note; I've already heard that skunks, once their "smelly thingy" is out of the picture, make great pets. Supposedly they're easily trained, can use a litter box and become quite loving when raised from babies anyway.

Uhhhhhhhhhhh My job

This one is not young enough to train and is pissed off enough from being in that cage. My neighbor and I will relocate and release it later. We have the trap partly covered by a big black trash bag and we will completely cover it later before the big move.

One shot is all you get and you better know where to shoot it or it will spray as it's last dying act. I get them and coons around my place all the time. On the other hand, a Bloody Mary does sound good right about now..

Well released unharmed :)

I will leave a set of directions where Flower was last seen and maybe he/she will walk to Texas. ;)

We don't seem to have them or Chipmunks around my hometown, but 25 miles north both are abundant. I remember the first one I ever saw in the woods as it passed by shuffling along continuously making a horrible, high pitched growling, whineing noise like a Tasmanian Devel and I wondered if it was rabid!!

Found a skunk had made a den in the bottom row of boxes in my chicken coop when i was a teen. I hand fed it salami for fun.

Skunks don't even like the smell of skunk, I've heard they won't spray if they're in a tight place.

Eventually caught and relocated it... across the river...

Actually had to shake it out of the cage, it didn't want to leave its temporary home wrapped up in that packing blanket.

Okay. I am now 2 for 2. Caught a smaller one (possible teenager not a baby) this morning. Scheduled for release later on this evening.

Small enough to fit in a USPS flat rate box. So JB keep an eye open for the mail!! :D

I hope I am this lucky during deer season;)
