That CB360 isn't a 1994. It's about 20 years older than that.

What 1996 Honda bike was offered in trade for the '96 Beemer?

I owned a '72 Honda CB350 for many years. Rugged, dependable, solid, a lot of them sold, cheap (I sold mine in the mid 90's for $400 ... $150 more than I paid for it in 1980. In 1974 the CB350 was phased out and replaced by the Honda CB360. The CB360 was in production for 2 years, I believe, with 1976 being the last year.

You better check the dates, but I think from the looks of that bike it is a 1976 Honda CB360. It looks to be in very good condition, but it isn't a collectors piece, so value is in how much you will use it. I don't know the condition of your BMW, but I doubt Blue Book on a 76 CB360 is anywhere close to the Blue Book of a 96 BMW Convertible.

That would be a hard Nope for me, there is nothing distinctive or rare about a CB360.

Just checked the guys email to me and he DID state it was a 1994.The bmw will prob be easier to sell this time of year even if the value was comparable which does not seem to be the case.

You may be crazy charlie, but you ain't nutz! :D The seller is if he thinks that's a 1994. You would be giving the BMW away.

Are you looking for a bike? You can find a better deal and much newer than that thing if you are.

If you have a nice rim on the bmw that's about the value of that bike.

While I personally like the CB360, I equally don't think it is anywhere near a fair trade. Your BMW could easily get tons more for it then the bike. Unless he is kicking in some serious cash, walk away... JMHO
