I really know nothing about this brand (Mariah) or the specific make in question (Jubilee z244). There is a 1997 model of this boat for sale locally and it really is priced well, but was just wanting to know more about this boat manufacturer. I do know this boat is fiberglass inside and out, is a 100% inboard motor (has a Mercruiser 350 hp with bravo 3 drive). There are 370 hours on it, and its a 1997 and comes with a trailer. What should be a good price for this boat, but also, can anyone just give me more info about this maker? Thanks!

Mariahs of that vintage are very well built boats. It was a premium boat company from 1990 until it went south in 98 or 99. Had lifetime hull warrenty, plush interiors and very well equipped but were pricey. It was bought by Larson in the early 2000's and since then has been sub-par quality.

I can't specifically comment about the Jubilee, but many Mariahs of that size and year are no-wood construction so rot isn't something you will need to worry about.

The older Mariah's had a reputation for being well built boats.

Thanks for the replies. I do know that it is fiberglass inside and out, so no wood. However, the boat alone weighs over 5,000 pounds, not including the dual axle trailer. That is a BIG load. What is a normal guess for the weight of the dual axle trailer, just so I know what the total towing weight would be? Thanks!

Boat probably weighs between 3,500-4,000lbs. Tandem trailer is usually 1,000-1,250 lbs. Is it a GM 350, or a 350HP engine? Big difference. I don't know of many Mercruiser SBC's putting out 350HP. Mariahs of that vintage were good boats as long as they were taken care of. Remember that wood-free likely just refers to stringers/transom, so be sure to check the floor and upholstery/trim for signs of water damage. Foam floatation can also get water-logged causing excess weight to be carried.

Mariahs are great well built boats. I will echo the comments above, join the Mariah club there is a ton of info over there.

I love my Mariah and wouldn't trade it for the world. They have a certain style about them.
