I heard the deals were supposed to be good if you went out the last day or two before new years. So I went and looked, and oh man am I glad I did.

Pics to come soon. Anybody else score?

I did.... I got a 96 sentra with 120,000 miles from a old lady complete with all service records for $1200. The car is in great shape and I have no payment this was a good deal.

I drive a 2003 chevy 4x4 pickup with hundred thousand miles, exspect to get 250 thou out of it and should have enough cash to buy a new one. There are no bargains when you need to make payments.

Them zero percent deals will always be there and so will the monthly payment.

I bought a 2010 Accord EX-L last year at this time. We got a really deal with 0.9% financing. Probably should have gone out to find my daughter a new car but didn?t. Guess I'll hit the 4th of July deals

Given the fact that we currently have 4 vehicles and one more on the way, I'm won't be doing too much vehicle shopping in the near future.
That said, a buddy of mine loves vehicle shopping particularly end of year and more specifically end of month shopping. The 'end of month' shopping has paid off for him many times on some great deals with the dealership working to get their months numbers in and done. He goes in with his price (not theirs), goes in 'all cash' and he is good at cheerily and confidently walking away...but leaving his contact number and its paid off well on more than a couple of occasions.
Ironically he is doing the same thing right now..but instead of cars or trucks he is wrangling for a 2008 20' Four Winns boat using his current 2000 as a trade in, more to come on this!

Nope...The last brand new 4 wheeled vehicle I bought was in 1994 and I'm still driving it. No car payments in 13 years has been nice. I did buy a new bike in the fall of '99, but I'm still riding it, too.

I'm just waiting for a good spring time sale to invest in a set of tires and a new battery for my '61 Studebaker.
