Just curious, how fast are they? I have a macgregor 26d which is fast and had a flying scot which was also fast, we do some club racing at our club and just bought a 24ft pontoon and are thinking of selling the mac and getting a daysailer instead of having two bigger boats. Our winds are mostly light in the summer, 5-10mph, and I've heard the rhodes were slow in light air. I like the looks of them and the cockpit looks deep like it would be comfortable to keep the wife happy on those race days that are sometimes long and slow. I don't get online too often but thanks for any responces. Tom

I owned an Oday Mariner which is basically the same boat but has a cabin. It was a fun boat. Easily maneuvered. Not super fast, but quick enough to be fun. You can also check out what the Mariner Association has to say at:

They are fine boats. I would not say they are fast but stable platforms for a good sail. A huge fleet of them in Boston, Ma
