morning forum. i,m having a motor built, 260hp mercruiser and while their doin that i want to rewire the whole boat and i would like to know where i can get wiring diagrams for a chriscraft 1985 scorpion 254. or maybe a universal diagram that i could go by. thanks tim

don't know about a diagram but there are definite wire colors you should use, they are industry standard now

your 1985 scorpion should be pretty up to date with acceptable wire colors from the factory although they may be faded

there is a sticky in the electrical forum about boat wiring, diagrams, colors, etc...that should help

i didn't look that closely but there seemed to be quite a bit of info regarding your question there

feel free to ask any questions not covered there, sometimes wiring can be a nightmare
