Anybody know about sea sprite boats ?

I bought a 1976 Sea Sprite -Sea mist, its 14 ft long tri hull and has a 50 hp evinrude outboard. It seems real solid.
I was just wondering if anybody else has had one like it.

Lots of people have, I can think of about 5 regular members here that have had them.
They were a popular boat back in the day.

Solid basic little tri-hull.

Wow. Nice to see that old thread again. But my old tri-hull was a Sea Star not a Sea Sprite. Although they were somewhat related. Glastex was the parent company for both lines. At least according to Fiberglassics.com http://www.fiberglassics.com/library/Sea_Sprite

I don't have her anymore, but I still see her up on the Wolf River near Fremont every once in a while.
