Anybody have dimensions for seat area on late 60s-early 70's islander 22?

Apologies in advance, but I am visiting family and not near my boat. Someone on craigslist here is selling a really nice seat with a metal base that would be an upgrade for me, and I'm wondering if it will slip right into the area in between my doghouse and the sidewalls, near the stern.

I'm just wondering if any of you wonderful people happen to be near a late 60s/early 70s islander 22 (I assume the dimensions will be pretty darn close for all those years!) and can measure from the side of the doghouse to the sidewall, all the way back against the transom (as close to the stern as possible)? I'm guessing it's about 15-20 inches.

Thanks!!

Mines an OB model but if the price is right snap em up. The area by the dog house should fit any size seat other than a large helm chair with arms.

Thanks, but I'm mostly worried about the base. It's on some custom base that looks like it can either JUST fit there or will be too big. Hard to tell the exact size based on a crappy craigslist photo with a tape measure, but it looks like the base is about 20" wide, give or take.
